"A Summer to Remember..." (7)

After shopping we got into our car heading back to our hotel.

I was thinking about what to wear the whole way back. 3ala hal malabis illi 3indi I didn’t know what to wear.

Awal ma wi9alna our suite I dashed into my room and opened my cupboard. “hmm, casual kash5a, or kash5a kash5a?” I asked myself. “casual kash5a a7san.” I answered.

9ara7a I wasn’t in the mood of wearing a dress or a skirt.

After a while of rummaging through my things I chose to wear skinny D&G pants, a white shirt, and a burgundy blazer. Simple and attractive at the same time.

I wore shiny black high heels to give that extra feminine look.

I started putting on some makeup, smokey eyes and nude lipstick. As I was in the middle of the process of putting on my make-up oboy 6ag ilbaab.

Baba: “haa baba 5ala9tai?”

Me: “eee shway wa5ali9 just give me 5 mins!”

Baba: “ok, bas lat6awleen manabi inta2a5ar 3ala 3azzam”

Me: “…ok baba lat7aati”

Bsir3a 5ala9t oo 6ala3t min il’3urfa to the 9aala willa my parents ga3deen 3ala ilsofa yan6irooni.

Mama: “zira3teena allah ihadach!” while rummaging through her purse. Then she slowly turned her head toward me while getting up. “Mashallah lailaha illa allah! Shinu hatha? Gumar gumar ta3alai 5anagra 3alaich!”

Me: “hehe mashkora mama”

Baba: “sh.hal zain!”

Me: “mashkoor baba!”

Baba: “inzain yalla yalla 5ani6la3, mabuga shay 3ala maw3idna”

Wi9alna ilma63am, it was very cozy, and the fresh aroma of pizza and pasta filled the place. The smell was delicious!

Baba: “hello, excuse me I have a reservation under the name……..”

Waiter: “yes sir, follow me please.”

As soon as we sat the waiter gave us the menu and we patiently waited for 3azzam to come.
We chatted for a little while until my dad cut off our conversation announcing 3azzam’s arrival. We all got up.

3azzam: “ilsalam! 3ithrooni 3ala ilta25eer ta2a5ar 3alai ilsayi8!”

Baba: “laa ma3alaih basee6a, 7ayak”

Sallam 3ala omy oo 3alai oo ga3ad jbaali. So ana oo omi next to each other oo 3azzam oo oboy yam ba3a’6. Wai3 shloun baakil wahwa jbaali bi’6ab6? I thought to myself.

We ordered our meals.

Indamjaw bilsuwalif uhwa oo omi oo oboi, I was quite the whole time. Bas la7a’6t every once in a while he would look at me with a grin on his face.

Baba: “7abeebti shfeech ma kalaitai?”

My face turned to a flush of pink.

Me: “laa baba kalait bas madry a7is inni shab3aana”

Baba: “3asa moo feech shay 7abeebti??” with a worried expression on his face.

Me: “ Laa baba im ok la t7aati”

3azzam was smiling for some reason. Wai3 shfee ka2ana 7aas ina ana mista7ya minna. Hffttt!

As soon as we were done we headed to the hotel. 7imdillah the outing was good, I thought to myself.

When we arrived ga3adna bil lobby shway, solafna  oo ti6amashna 3ala ilrayi7 wilraad.

Baba: “ yala yuba ilwagt ta2a5ar 5ani93ad”

Mama: “ee walla ma 7asait”

We got up and headed to the elevators. As we were waiting, I saw a familiar look through the corner of my eye.
it was 3azzam oo 9a7ba taw.hum dasheen... oo ma3ahum wa7da.

"A Summer to Remember..." (6)

As soon we got back to the hotel, I took a shower, and wore my comfiest pajamas which consisted of light and dark pink striped shorts and a peach, short sleeved shirt with a v neck cut.

I quickly got into bed expecting to sleep instantly after this exhausting day, but turns out I was wrong.

See whenever I can't sleep my imagination kicks in.

Therefore I started making up my own fairy tales, which included him of course. I have a wild imagination btw oo sub7anallah mayi6la3 hal imagination illa ib taali ill ail.

ok ibti'67ikoon 3ala the story bas hatha ili kint ga3da at5ayilla, shasawy ya3ni?

Anyways here's the story...

So I imagined me and 3azzam sitting in the lobby's cafe, drinking our coffees and enjoying our time.

I was wearing a one-shouldered maroon dress with ruffles on the shoulder, and he was wearing a crispy white t-shirt, and dark brown pants.

Everything seemed fine until the pianist played the melodies to the famous song "pretty women"...

3azzam suddenly says "ihdaa2" and gets up from his seat and spreads his fingers towards me kindly asking me to get up and dance oo ana kint mista7ya oo min9adma oo mitradida bas i got up.

We slowly strided towards the mini dancing area in front of the pianist.

Suddenly everyone in the cafe starts cheering, and I was blushing unwillingly.

He put his arms around my waist and held my right hand, and I slowly put my left hand on his shoulder.

We slowly danced to the beautiful melodies of this classic song.

While dancing I realized how broad and strong his shoulders were.

How strong his fierce's odor was.

And how mesmerizing his light brown eyes were.

So i looked into his eyes and thats when he suddenly whispers: "you're my angel..."....

Faj2a i started giggling (bil 9ij) oo bil'3ala6 il9ot kan 3aali!

Abaay 7imdillah wilshikir shfeeni?! I thought to myself.

Then faj2a I saw my door opening, willa my father yaai ichayik 3alai.

Baba: "Deema 7abeebti ti7tajain shai? ana banam."

Deema: "laa baba mashkoor salaamtik, oo tu9ba7 3ala 5air"

Baba: "wintay min ahala 7abeebti, agool deema sima3tai 9ot tawwa?"

Deema: "9ot shinu baba?"

Baba: "madry chinni sima3t 9ot, kintay ga3da itkalmeen a7ad?"

Shit. Shbagoola? Bintik ga3da itta5ayal 8i9a9 7ub ma3a 3azzam witdish 3alam thaani ba3dain tindimij wayid wit3eesh ildor oo ti'67ak faj2a? No of course.

So i said: " laa baba wala shay, bas tithakart maw8if '6a7akni"

*seeeeeewwwww-seeeeeeeew-6O5!!!!* ya3ni 9uwaree5. LOL

Baba: "ok 7abeebti yalla sweet dreams"

Deema: "you too!"

My mom slept early fa ma gidart aroo7 agoolaha good night. So I slept straight away.
----------------------

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed!

Deema: "aaaakh" while stretching. "a9ba7na wa a9ba7a ilmulku lilaah!"

Gimt min fraashi oo '3assalt oo baddalt.

I wore my favorite true religion jean skinny pants, and a white shirt.
Mabi alibis shay over min 9ubaa7 allah 5air.

Ri7t 3ind my parents room and said good morning!
Mama: "halla 7abeebti 9aba7 il5air"

baba: "hala 7abeebti"

As soon as they finished getting ready for the day, we headed downstairs for the breakfast buffet. The aroma of the freshly cooked hash browns welcomed us.

The waiter guided us to our table and asked for our drinks. For me its always hot chocolate. ALWAYS.

After that we got up and filled our plates with delicious specialties and headed to our table.
7imdillah the food was amazing. It was perfect.

Baba: "haa 7abaybi shnaween tsawoon ilyom?"

Deema: "shopping baba, mafeeha roo7 oo ta3aal!'

mama: "ee 3adil kalaam bintik!"

Baba: "walaain min awalha shopping?! ma tmiloon?" while laughing.

Deema: "laaa2 maanmil, manigdar inmil a9lan."

Baba: "ok min il7een lai ilma'3arb killa 3ala tho8kum, bas bilail 3ala tho8i"

Deema: "laish? shinu tabi itsawi?"

Baba: " abi akil ib hal ma63am il i6aali, 7addi mishtihee, oo marra wa7da ba3zim 3azzam"

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name. I started recalling the events of my wild imagination yesterday night.

Deema: "oh"

Baba: "laish? 3indich shai?"

Deema: "haa?..uhm laa 3adi mako shay"

Baba: "ok, yalla gumna?"

Mama: "ee yalla"

So we got up and headed to the main entrance to where our chauffeur was waiting for us.
Can't wait to see what embarrassing moments I'll get myself into today....

"A Summer to Remember..." (5)

Deema: “Reeeeeemmaaa!!”
Reema: “Deeemzz!”
I gave her a rib-cracking, bear hug!
Reema: “aaii aii MY RIBS!!!”
Deema: “sorry!”
Reema: “Shfeech you’re so excited?! Min na’6ritich a7is 3indich shay bitgoleena!!...oo it involves a guy, right?
Deema: “YES!..wait abay fashla ma sallamt 3ala your parents oo ta7ammadt lihum bilsalama! Fa sallamt 3alaihum and thats when I saw a cute chubby girl standing with them.
Deema: “Reemo mino hathi?”
Reema: “Ee nisait agoolich ina my cousin’s coming too, ihya bint 5alti isimha Tala! She’s 17 and she’s so sweet! You’re gonna love her 9adgeeni!”
Deema: “ok” so I smiled towards her and she shyly smiled back.
I hurriedly pulled Reema and sat on one of the sofas in the lobby and told her everything that happened.
Reema: “No way!”
Deema: “I know!”
Reema: “waaay abi ashooofa!”
And right at this moment, a cute tanned, muscular guy passed by. 5azna chan yig3ad ib the sofa jidaamna.
Reema: “oooh-kaayy, that was weird” “ wait Deemo is that him?!”
Deema: “Laa shaku! Awal marra ashoofa!”
Reema: “okay”
So we just ignored him, and started talking about our plans for tomorrow.
Reema: “Bacher 7adda binroo7 ba7ar! I need to tan!”
Deema: “I desperately need a tan too!”
Reema: “inzain goomay 5antimasha aby aktishif ilhotel.”
Deema: “ok, 5anshoof ilpool!”
Reema: “laish tabeen bacher inroo7 ilpool instead of ba7ar?”
Deema: “laaa bas bashoofa!!”
Reema: “5ala9 yalla ok”
Tawna yai bingoom chan i6oof 3azzam!
He changed his outfit to beige shorts (Kuwaiti trademark) and a navy blue and white Hacket shirt, and his collar was up.
3azzam: “hala Deema shlounich?”
Ok I have to hold myself together I said to myself! 5allich cool 3ady 3ady!
Deema: “tamam il7imdillah inta shlounik?”
3azzam: “b5air daamich b5air!”
Then the guy who gave us “The Stare” got up and came and stood next to 3azzam. Sallam 3alaih 3azzam chan igool…
3azzam: “Deema hatha 9a7bi Mit3ib Al-******, Mit3ib hathi Deema Al-*****, bint 9aa7ib oboy, oo….”
Deema: “sorry ma3araftik 3alaiha, she’s my best friend isimha Reem Al-*****”
3azzam and Mit3ib: “wilni3im”
Reema: “allah yin3am ib 7aalkom”
3azzam: “ so wain bitro7oon?”
Waai sh.hal ligaafa I thought to myself.
Deema: “ madry yimkin nitmasha da5il ilhotel niktishif ilamakin ili daa5il oo chithi.”
3azzam: “nice!”
Deema: “yeah, yalla talk to you later”
3azzam: “ok, take care moo titda3ison! Tara 5a6ir, ib hal wagt i9eer fee wayid sikaara”
Awww ya7laila! Ok a3tirif that was cute of him.
So I just smiled and said okay.
As soon as we left Reema said that the whole time 3azzam couldn’t take his eyes off of me!
Reema: “tara ashkara mu3jab!”
Deema: “waai bas chub chub chub!”
Reema: “eeeh okaayyy.” You know ma3a nabrat il “i-know-you-like-him-bas-you-just-pretend-you-don’t” kind of look.
We took the elevator and went to the pool on the second floor.
Deema: “ilman’6ar iyannin”
Reema: “off! A7la shay sunsets!”
And for some reason, …I wanted 3azzam to be with us… I shook my head and went back to staring at the beautiful orange sky.
Reema: “ok adri faj2a, bas tara Mit3ib is cute.” While still staring at the mesmerizing view.
Deema: “yeah, he’s okay.”
“Reema shrayich nanzil nitmasha 3ala ilpromenade?(mamsha area)”
Reema: “ee ok 3ala ra7tich”
So we went down and started walking, while talking about some of our friends back in Kuwait, you know like where they are now, and how much we miss them, this kind of stuff.
Suddenly…
Reema: “Deema! 9’o’clock NOW!”
So I quickly turned my view to the left willa ashoof 3azzam oo Mit3ib ga3deen ib ma63am (fee ma6aa3im 3ala ilmamsha btw) wiya a girl oo they were laughing and enjoying their time, mbayin inna 3azzam oo Mit3ib imkayfeen 3ala hal bint.
Ok I hate to admit this, bas she’s not bad looking, min b3eed at least.
7asaait wayhi 9aar 7aar faj2a.
Reema: “deemo wayhich 9aar a7mar!! mi7tara haa?;)”
Deema: “shaku?! A9lan…a9lan ta3abt wana amshi oo ba3dain 7aar!!!”
Reema: “eee rag3ai rag3ai!”
Deema: “ifff!! Reemo shfeech! Jad gitlich min il7aarr!”
Reema: “eee goolai hal kalaam 7ag wa7da ‘3airi! Ana 3arfitich 3adil oo I know it when you like a guy!”
So I just stayed quiet and kept on walking while looking straight ahead.
Throughout the whole journey he was all I could think of.
The way he laughed with that girl who’s identity remained unknown really hurted me. I didn’t like what I saw.
I didn’t like it at all.
I didn’t like the fact that he was enjoying his time with “her”.
After all, I guess what Reema said is true…

"A Summer to Remember..." (4)

Him: “ilsalaam!”

All of us: “wa3alaikum ilsalaam”

Him: “hala 3ami shlounik?... 3araftni?”

Baba: “ hala feek,  in makint ‘3al6an…, 3azzam? Wild Fai9al Al-*****?”

3azzam: “Eee 3alaik noor!”

Isim 7ilo I thought to myself.

Baba: “ Ana agool laish wayhik moo ‘3areeb 3alai min awal ma shiftik bil lobby!”

Sallimaw 3ala ba3a’6 then…

3azzam: “ahaha ee!” “ 3aad chinni lima7tik bil 6ayara, bas sta7ait ayye asallim li2ana makint mit2akid itha int willa la2, 7imdillah Allah katib ashoofik mara thanya 3ashan at2akkad inik int 3ami Bu-Turki!”

Baba: “eeh shift shloun!”

“3azzam hathi ilmadaam Om-Turki, oo hathi binti Deema”

3azzam: “ hala shlounkom?”

Then mad eeda oo sallam, like a handshake only.

I simply melted. Again.

Mama: “7imdillah b5air”

Deema: “7imdillah tamam”

3azzam: “yalla 3ami mani im6awil 3alaikum, bil3afya”

Baba: “laa laa wain rayi7?”

“omg akeed bigoola yig3ad ma3aana” I thought.

Baba: “7ayaak ma3aana!”

As expected J

3azzam: “laa 3ami mashkoor kaa 6aawliti hnee oo 6alib akil!”

Baba: “laa kaifik bit5aleehum iyeeboon akilik 3indina! Tara az3al 3alaik!”

3azzam: “laa laa 5ala9 inshallah! 3ad killa wala za3al 3ami Bu-Turki!”

Baba: “eee kafu!”

So 3azzam asked the waiter to transfer his orders to our table, then got his laptop bag and iphone then headed to our table again.

Baba: “7ayallah min yaana!”

3azzam: “haha allah i7ayeeek!”

Then they started talking about the business baba and his father are handling since they were best friends from high school! They trusted each other so much! Its so cute!

And now baba’s best friend has a son who is so attractive waana a5er man ya3lam?

As if hearing my thoughts... Baba said: “haa 3azzam tara 7addik ‘3aa6! Ma gumna inshoofik bildiwaaniya mithl awal!”

3azzam: “ee 3ami ana adris ib Amreeka! 9arli 4 sneen hnaak!”
“ oo il7een bugaali a5er course!”

Baba: “ooh 9a7! It9addig raa7 3an baali!”

3azzam: “haha 3adi 3adi”

Aha that’s why makint a3arfa I was 14 when he left fa I didn’t really care about boys a lot at that age.

Baba: “haa shga3ad tadris hnaak?”

3azzam: “Architecture, handasa mi3maariya” then he looked at me.

“wth” I thought to myself. Shfee 6ala3ni when he said that?

Baba: “Mashallah hatha shay wayid 7ilo! 3ad Deema ba3ad nawya tadris handasa lama itdish iljaam3a ba3ad cham shahar!”

3azzam: “ 9ij? Zaain! Ay handasa? Nafsi?”

Baba: “9ij 5ireejat madrisa 5aa9a! thba7atna ib hal ‘yeah” hathi!

Deema: “baabaaa!”

Baba: “at’3ashmar at’3ashmar”

I started to blush oo he was smiling towards me oo tawni astaw3ib ina 3inda ‘3amazaat! KALB! …so that made me blush even more! Thus I took my cappuccino and started sipping slowly in hopes of lessening the pink-ness on my cheeks.

So the sowalif between my father and 3azzam continued for about 20 minutes when 3azzam received a call.

3azzam to the person on the phone: “Yes. Yeah ok. Thank you”

After disconnecting from the phone call he said : “yalla 3ami lazim asta2thin, ‘3urfiti jahza baroo7 arrayi7 shway, ta3abt 3ogob loyat ilsifar! Oo mashkoor matga9ir 3ala hal ga3da il7ilwa!”

Baba: : “7abeeb il3afu shda3wa! Masawait shay! Eee 3adil kalaamik, roo7 rayyi7! Bas haa 3ad 5anshoofik marathanya! Ee oo 3a6ni ra8mik tara hal ga3da hathi moo ma7sooba! Ra7 adig 3alaik a3zimik marathanya 3ala ma63am ee6aali ra7 ya3jibik, oo mara7 a8bil ay 3ithir!”

3azzam: “laa 3ami shda3wa laish ga3ad itkallif 3ala nafsik! Maani ‘3areeb!”

Baba: “laa shda3wa, maa min kalaafa!”

3azzam: “matga9er 3ami oo hatha ra8mi….”

3ugub ma they got each other’s numbers 3azzam said: “yalla 3an ithinkum, asta2thin”

Baba: “ithnik ma3aak”

Before he left he shot me and my mom a million dollar smile and said “fur9a sa3eeda”

Then my mom said “A7na as3ad”

Ana allah isallimkum 7asait china lsaani lazig fog ib lithiti moo ra’6i yanzil (m3alig) considering the fact that I just burned my tongue which was an aid to this action.

Jad affashil, so I just smiled back.

Mama: “Mashallah 3alaih, 3aini 3alaih baarda! Yadris handasa ib amreeka, oo jameel, oo a5laa8! Kaamil wilkaamil Allah!”

“haha ee wa’6i7 wahwa tawa mit7arrish feeni lama ‘6a7ak 3alai when I burned my tongue and started cursing” I thought to myself.

Baba: “haha eeeh ibyi6la3 mithil obooh!”

Deema: “3inda 5waan?”

Baba: “eee bas ahwa ilbichir, 3inda o5o a9’3ar minna ib sintain isma 3imaad, oo i5it kubrich isimha Mais.”

Deema: “ah ok”

So we ordered the check then headed out to walk in the promenade, the mamsha area next to the sea.

Mama: “kaa 7a8a8na illi tabeena! Moo giltay tabeen titmashain 3ind ilba7ar? Kaana 3ind ilba7ar!”

Deema: “haha eeh mashkoreen!!”

Then I hugged them both! A7ibhuuum!

Deema: “yalla ma buga shay oo yo9loon Reema oo her family! Jad I cant wait to see her!”

Baba: “issa3a cham ra7 yo9loon?”

Deema: “3ala kalaamha itgool 6 yo9loon Spain!”

Baba: “Ee zain ma buga shay!”

Ga3adna bil lobby oo 6alabna akil (lunch). I was starving!!!

When we were done I got a bbm min Reema saying inha w9alat ilhotel tawwa!
I jumped off my seat and ran towards the reception area! I was so excited! I couldn’t wait to tell her all about what happened!

"A Summer to Remember..." (3)

We finally arrived in Malaga, Airport.

Everything went smoothly. Our hotel’s mini van chauffeur who was a bold, short, chubby guy in his forties welcomed us.

The journey to Marbella was about an hour and a half. When we arrived my father went to the reception and got everything done in less than 10 minutes. As soon as we got our cards we headed to the elevators.

The suite was amazing. It had a perfect view of the sea.

Deema: “Mama 3adi atmasha 3ala ilba7ar?”

Mama: “Bismilla tawna waa9leen”

Deema: “Adri bas iljaw iyanin! Please mara7 a6awil!”

Mama: “3asa bitro7een broo7ich? Insai! Ni6ray lama Reema to9al ba3dain roo7ai wiyaha.”

(Reema is my bestest best friend. I love her. She understands me well and a day could never be complete without having a talk with her.)

Deema: “Laa mama 6ayaarat.ha to9al bilail!!”

Mama: “Ok 5ala9 bacher il9ub7 roo7aw’

Deema: “Ok fine…”

Baba: “Itha tabeen it’3ayreen jaw roo7ay ta7at il lobby shirbay gahwa, oo ana oo omich ra7 nanzillich ba3ad shway”

Deema: “Good idea! 5ala9 I’ll take a shower wabadil wanzil seeda!”

Baba: “Ok 7abeebti”

So I finished taking a shower, and wore my red maxi dress and honey colored gladiators adding simple jewelry to give my look a boost. Then headed straight to the elevators.

I got in the elevator with a cute Spanish worker who greeted me with a “buenas dias” (good morning). He was so sweet!

Wi9alt il lobby oo ga3adt 3ala 6awla yam ildarayish  cuz abi maw8i3i ikoon shar7, the waiter came and I ordered a cappuccino.
I was checking out my bbm’s after that when a familiar smell passed by.
It was him.

Our eyes met for a second chan asti7i walif wayhi! “Abaay sh.hal 9idfa!” I thought to myself.

He sat on the table next to me. Mashallah 3ala kil hal 6awlaat ilfa’6ya ma liga ‘3air inna yig3ad yammi….

A few minutes later the waiter came with my drink. So I carried the cup and took a sip.

Deema: : “ Aaaa777!” “Crap! I burned my tongue!”
“ Ana ghabiya ba3ad I should’ve waited lama yabrid shway!”

It was flaming hot.

I carefully put my cup back on the saucer and started pulling air into my mouth. Shakli ib kil basaa6a kaan film.

Then I heard a giggle. I lifted my head up to meet his gaze, which was obviously set on me. 3ifast wayhi oo I went back to checking my bbm’s.

He’s too cute I thought to myself. 9a7 ba6 chabdi 3ala hal 7araka bas still he’s really cute.

My parents came oo ga3adna insolif oo ni’67ak while drinking our coffees oo he kept on staring every once in a while oo kaan 7ail mitwatter. Especially lama my parents came. Tigdiroon itgoloon iltima7 wayha.

Faj2a gaam min mukaana oo ya 9ob 6awlatna!

“omg” gilt ib galbi….

"A Summer to Remember..." (2)

A tall, handsome guy with brown hair and wide light brown eyes just passed my row.

His seat was exactly behind me!

I was flaming from inside. I believe that I even started sweating a bit. Yes. He's THAT hot. I would actually believe him if he said that he was a model straight of a magazine's cover.

OMG. I'm not like this, I never go head over heels on a guy, I'm not that kind of girl! Ok I had crushes gabel oo 7abait their looks oo chithi bas 3aad ma wi9alt lay hal daraja min ili3jaab!

Anyways, the captain talked through the speakers kindly asking the attendants to take their seats and prepare for take-off.

I was extremely tired since I just slept for like 3 hours yesterday. I needed some rest so I thought I'll just take a short nap to give me some energy.

I woke up 3 hours later by my mom.

Mama: " yalla deema 7abeebti goomay timashai, moo zain tig3ideen wayed, its not good for your blood circulation!"

Deema: "haa? Ee inshallah okay" *yawns*

I was just about to get up, when I remembered who was sitting behind me! Waggaft illa86a. Madry shasawy! Oo il7een ishoofni waana wayhi nom? No way!

"shil7al?" I asked myself.

Then I remembered I have my hoodie with me! " 7imdillah ma 7a6aita ib the trolley bag! Chan I had to take it out from the upper luggage area!" I thought to myself oo quickly took it out of my  large hand bag and wore it then headed straight to the toilet.

3adalt sha3ri oo my make-up. "hmm, perfect" I thought to myself.

I started putting my stuff back in the bag including the hoodie and opened the door.

And there he was standing right in front of the toilet. He was staring at me.

Il7een ba6la3 bas mani gadra, the space was too small!

So i said: " umm law sama7t, mum kin itdani shway?"

Hnee he snapped out of his "staring mode" and said: "Eee tfa'6ilay i5ty, ilsumoo7a"

I simply melted.

I quickly headed to my seat oo wayhy kan 3ebara 3an rainbow. Ma buga lon ma 6ala3, kint min7arja 3ala mistansa, gala ma9dooma, madri shloun ashra7likum!

As soon as I got to my seat I opened the tv and started rummaging through the movies, abi allahi nafsi 3anna.

I chose to see Cindrella! My all time favorite! I just love love love disney movies! They can never get old!

A few minutes later he passed and gave me the cutest grin ever! You know where the mouth tilts to one side?...

A Summer to Remember... (1)

Mama: “ Deeeeeemmma!! Deeemo oo 9uma5!!”

Deema: “ Na3aaaaamm mama! Kani kani digeeega bas!”

Mama: “tara bit6eer 3anna il6ayara ib sibbitich!!”

Deema: “ sorry sorry!!!! Kani il7een naazla!!”

I quickly finalized the last touches of my fave Dior mascara, grabbed my red Balanciaga handbag, and sprinted downstairs!

Mama: “A5eeeeran! Ma ba’3aitay tanzileeen! Wain jan6itich iltrolley?!”

Deema: “ nazzilat.ha Anne gabl shway!”

Mama: “inzain 7abeebty bsir3a roo7ay ilsayara 3ind obooch!”

It’s been a week since summer vacation started and we’re heading to Spain, Marbella specifically! Ya3ni ba5ith 5oooosh tan!! I really can’t wait!

With a huge smile plastered on my face I zoomed towards our car and jumped in. I was welcomed by the voice of my father who was sitting on the passenger seat next to m7amad (our Egyptian driver). Baba was busy talking to mus6afa (our other driver) making sure everything’s good since he left before us to get the luggage checked in early.

A7ib oboy! He always tries his best to make sure nothing goes wrong and that we enjoy the vacation to the max!

The journey to the airport was short. As soon as we got in the airport we got our tickets and headed straight to the first class lounge to have a drink.

The lady at the reception finally announced the opening of gate 22.

We got into the plane, and my parents and I took our seats. They were sitting in the first row next to the window and I was behind them.
I put on my headphones on and started playing games on my iphone waiting for the airplane to be filled with its passengers. Shortly after that a young 11-year-old girl sat next to me.

Everything seemed to go well, until the air around me began to be filled with Abercrombie’s “Fierce” aroma…
